How to measure your room for fitted wardrobes (approximate guide before your professional design visit): Step 1 — Measure wall width at floor level, middle, and ceiling (walls are rarely perfectly straight). Step 2 — Measure floor-to-ceiling height at left, centre, and right. Step 3 — Note any obstacles (sockets, radiators, coving, skirting boards).
Step 4 — Measure alcove depths if applicable. Step 5 — Note door and window positions. Important: these are guide measurements only.
